At Irving Park Baptist Church, we believe our job as followers of Jesus Christ is to live out our lives together in ways that reflect the love of God. We celebrate together in joyful worship, we study God's word faithfully, we pray with and care for each other and we have fun together in Christian friendship while we reach out to share the Good News about our Savior in word and in deed.

We’re celebrating 120 years of faithfully serving God this year. What a blessing! Watch our website for opportunities to celebrate with us as we praise God’s wonderful faithfulness to us. Our theme is "Seeking the Lighted Path," based on Psalm 119:105--“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” Our goal is to deepen our study of God’s word and our spiritual walks with God. We want to grow closer to God so that we might let our lights shine brighter and brighter in the world and give glory and honor to God. All are welcome to join us in our Christian journey.

Pastor Greene is the mother of two sons, Reggie and Bakori Davis. She is the proud grandmother of Kayin Burnette Davis and Devin Murray Davis, sons of Bakori and Adrienne, and she is happily married to Reverend William Greene, an elder in the United Methodist Church.
